YAY Games updated tokenomics

The YAY Games Initial Decentralized offering (IDO) is almost here! Given the overwhelming interest and support shown by our investors, community, and partners, we have decided to update our previous tokenomics.

We are well aware that a change in tokenomics may cause some disturbance to those who have been with $YAY since the beginning. However, we believe the decision will be beneficial to everyone involved in our project.

We will also explain how and why these changes were implemented to ensure that you have all the information needed to make a conscious decision when it comes to participating in the YAY Games IDO.

The Reasons behind the updated model

Hard work pays off! In the past few weeks, we watched as our community grew at an astonishing rate. It’s good to know that so many of you share our vision. As expected, the demand for the $YAY token has also increased. Therefore, we have decided to take a step back in order to re-evaluate our tokenomics.

Due to increased demand, we have decided to raise our initial market cap from $253,000.00 to $510,000.00. In order to increase the market cap, we have unlocked tokens that were previously locked at the time of the Token Generation Event (TGE). Keep reading to get all the details.

In our old tokenomics model, tokens allocated to game mining mechanics, future developments, and community contests were locked for a certain period of time. Given the influx of new community members and investors, we have now decided to release a small percentage of those tokens at the TGE stage. Thus, our initial market cap will be higher than previously planned, but we can ensure that the recent updates won’t affect fundraising rounds. All metrics can be seen in detail below.

$YAY is a BEP-20 token hosted on the Binance Smart Chain (BSC), and it will be available for pairing with both BNB and BUSD after its release on decentralized exchanges.

Users can earn $YAY tokens by playing multiple games, unlocking new features, and achieving new rankings.

With the development of our marketplace and new games joining our community, we plan to launch more tokens and give users different revenue streams aside from the obvious sell features.
