YAY Claiming 2.0: New beginnings

Claiming is one of the main launches of this month as well as one of the key milestones in our roadmap, and we sincerely wanted to give our investors an opportunity to get their tokens as early as possible. In the last update, we’ve shared the main difficulties we faced on the first day and rolled up our sleeves to fix everything in the shortest time.

48 hours (and countless red bulls) later we’re glad to announce that this boss was defeated, and the claiming dashboard is ready for a fresh start.

We had to make a difficult choice between speed and accuracy and decided that we couldn’t sacrifice the quality to save several hours and deploy the updates earlier. Our main priority was to assure that every investor receives the correct amount of tokens at the right time, thus we’ve put a lot of effort into ensuring that all the claiming and vesting terms are implemented correctly.

During this never-ending day we’ve:

• built a database from scratch;
• parsed all the information on the already claimed tokens;
• developed new algorithms and scripts for advanced tests;
• rewrote vesting smart contract;
• carefully reviewed the details and run tests manually as well;
• double-checked everything to make sure that it’s working properly.

It wouldn’t be possible without the outstanding support from our community, because we knew that we simply couldn’t let yaygang down.

The most significant update in the new smart contract is that tokens that were supposed to be unlocked at TGE were sent to all investors directly. It also includes the investors who didn’t come and claim tokens.

❗️ Please note, that since the first batch was sent to all the wallets directly, in our new smart contract % to receive at TGE will be displayed as 0.

Seed and strategic investors received 10% of their tokens, while presale and public sale investors received 30%. In total, today we’ve sent 13'675'658 $YAY ~ 700'000 USD.

This launch became a priceless experience for our team, it helped us to elevate our testing flow and add the required adjustments for a smooth and pleasant user experience. We’re certain that it was a challenge that made us stronger as a team, as a community, and genuinely as a future of decentralized gaming.

We want our community to know that we’ll keep an eye on potentially weak spots in our armor and cover them with tests to prevent such cases later on.
