Announcing the YAY Games Airdrop contest winners
Following the selection process of our latest airdrop contest, we’re excited to share the results with our community. If you’re one of the lucky winners, congratulations! If not, then keep your eyes peeled for future campaigns and competitions, as they are sure to come.
For those that are not aware, we have recently decided to conduct an airdrop contest, allowing our community members to earn $YAY tokens for helping the project.
While the original prize pool was set at 200,000 $YAY, we have also decided to increase it to 400,000 $YAY due to the unexpected surge in participants looking to join the community and earn $YAY tokens through organic engagement.
In this blog post, we review the structure of the contest and its impact on our project’s outreach. We will also be going over the list of winners and providing them with all the necessary info to claim their $YAY tokens.
General information
The contest ended on the 1st of August and had over 70,000 participants. All the work and engagement put forth by our community has exceeded our expectations, and we are deeply grateful for it. The overwhelming subscription to the campaign was the key factor behind the decision to raise the prize pool to $400,000 YAY tokens.
Our social media channels have seen tremendous growth in the last few days. Our Twitter following alone grew tenfold, from roughly 3,000 followers to now almost 30,000, our Medium followers have also increased substantially and our Telegram group now counts with over 19000 members.
Moving on to the Lucky winners
We’re happy to see that so many cryptonauts share our vision for a decentralized blockchain gaming platform where gamers are given the chance to monetize their skills and time. Those that have put the most effort in supporting and spreading the YAY Games project will be rewarded in the following manner:
- Top 10 winners — 20,000 $YAY
- Top 50 winners — 2,000 $YAY
- Top 200 winners — 500 $YAY
